Belgian e-invoicing is mandatory since 2026. Existing tools forced a compromise: Odoo SaaS with wkhtmltopdf breaking any custom design, Billit paywalling template customization on the free tier, or Storecove at €0.18/invoice. None offered pixel-perfect design, free native Peppol, and customer memory + product catalog + recurrence.
Self-hosted Next.js 16 app: PDF via Playwright headless Chromium (real modern CSS, not wkhtmltopdf), sending via free BE Peppyrus access point, premium emails via Resend (free tier 3000/month). Product catalog with autocomplete, per-line discount, unique mod 97 OGM, per-client BCC, one-shot and recurring scheduling, weekly SQLite backup. €0/month after setup.
